JOCO

JOCO

In 2008 the JOCO brand was born out of personal protest to a mounting threat of plastic and single use waste. An issue created by the obsession with cheap convenience that has led to a plastic world with a disposable culture.

JOCO believed it was possible to experience life’s luxuries without conceding taste, smart design or the natural environment. They set out to create fine looking, forward-thinking and covetable reusable vessels that fight plastic and single use waste. They like to call them hardworking.

Their mission hasn’t changed since the beginning. And they are proud to say it’s working. We have seen a positive shift away from the disposable culture. We have seen coffee lovers and tea drinkers all over the world choose to sip from a JOCO cup. Empowering the journey from what may seem like a small insignificant step, into a positively impactful way of living.

They are a proud partner of Take 3 For the Sea and since 2017 the partnership has resulted in the retrieval of over 45,000 pieces of plastic from the world’s oceans. With the purchase of every JOCO cup you are not only adopting a real product solution by stopping the flow of plastic but supporting the efforts of Take 3 and it’s plastic cleanup activity. A continuing partnership, this year your contribution will result in a minimum of 75,000 pieces removed.

JOCO continue to partner with key organisations focusing on important environmental, health and social issues.

Why we love them

This is where it all started, my reusable coffee cup symbolises the beginning of my journey and reminds me every day of the big difference we can make by making a small change in our daily lives. I brought my JOCO cup in April 2016, it has been used almost 5 days a week since, it goes in the dishwasher for cleaning and it looks just as good as the day I brought it.

I did a lot of research into the best reusable coffee cup. The JOCO cup is glass, it has a thicker band around the body making it easy to grip with your whole hand and the lid shape stopped your nose from touching the lid. Their mission to inspire others to move away from a disposable society and empower that change along with plastic free packaging is, of course, another reason why I love them.
