Stainless Steel Oval Lunchbox with Snack Box

Keep food fresh and plastic free with this stainless steel container, great for lunches, takeaway treats or food storage at home. 

This container is 18cm x 11cm x 4.5cm in height, the small container is 10cm x 6.5cm x 4cm in height, with a curved edge to fit snuggly inside the container. Latches on the side to secure the lid closed. As it is made from stainless steel it is durable and long lasting and a great alternative to plastic.

Please note this product is not leak proof, but it is fair to say if you are not holding it upside down you shouldn’t have any issues.

What it replaces and why we love it

Plastic containers just don’t cut the mustard, they leak toxins into our food, absorb flavours and odours and break easily. Most plastic containers are recyclable, but with the world’s current recycling crisis and the fact that only 9% of the worlds plastic is actually being recycled, we need a viable long-term option.

We use our stainless steel containers for taking homemade lunches to work, getting takeaway sushi, transporting salads, carrying snacks with us when we’re on the go and taking food on short and long haul flights. We’ve found these to be a great alternative to plastic containers as they are more durable and last longer!

As we always say, use what you’ve got first, so if you have other reusables at home, we would encourage you to keep using these rather than buying something new.

Care

Super easy to look after, simply hand wash with hot soapy water or pop in the dishwasher. This is also freezer safe.

End of life

These will keep forever so ensure you take proper care of them. Otherwise, they are 100% recyclable, check with your local recycling facility for correct disposable.

These come in a reusable or recyclable cardboard box and a paper sticker. Zero plastic!
