The Rethink star net bucket bag is ideal for food shopping, the beach or carrying your reusables. Its strong thick long handles measure 71.12cm, making it easy to carry over your shoulder. It has a wide opening and it’s robust net design allows for an increase in volume, the perfect alternative to a plastic bag.

What it replaces & why we love it

5 Trillion plastic bags are produced each year and on average, a person only uses the bag for 12minutes. Plastic doesn’t ever go away, it just breakdowns into tiny pieces known as Microplastics. As they break down they release toxins, and animals often mistake the micro plastics for food, filling their tummies without giving them the nutrients they need to survive.  

On a more positive note, New Zealand has just announced the mandatory phase out of plastic bags. Which we are super excited about.

These bags are a must have in our house and have been the perfect gift for friends and family who are stating their plastic free journey. Ethically made in India and 100% biodegradable these handy reusable produce bags are the perfect substitute to single use plastic disposable bags.

Gentle machine wash and line dry.

End of life

When looked after well these should last you for quite a while. Where possible, we recommend mending and holes should they occur.

If the bags are unrepairable, then they can be composted at home as the whole bag, including the sew in labels, are 100% biodegradable.

Comes with a craft card swing tag secured with a cotton string, wrapped with a cotton ribbon.

Rethink deliveries arrive to us in a cardboard box, apart from the tape and invoice pocket there is no other plastic in this parcel.
